SEO organic methods take more work from the individual, but is a safer and, in the end, more effective way to optimize a web site for search engines. In a way, Organic SEO helps to keep Internet “pollution” to a minimum, so you’re also helping the virtual environment! In the following paragraphs, you’ll find a few easy ways to use this type of search engine optimization.

You’re no doubt familiar with the basic concepts of search engine optimization, but are you familiar with SEO organic methods? While search engine optimization is a very important aspect to any online business’ marketing plan, it’s become increasingly standardized and mechanized. Many SEO services and applications simply use the same basic plan to enhance a web site’s search engine rankings.

Using PLR Effectively – by Clint Anderson

A while back I had met Chris Jensen and he asked me if I wanted to do an article
for you as a guest post on his blog. I excitedly agreed, and here is the very
unique content that I have hooked him up with. It’s all about being unique, right
Chris?

***

In using PLR effectively one needs to first understand what PLR is. PLR is
“Private Label Rights” and what this means is that you have rights to change the
text and use the content any way you wish. This includes rewriting the text, not
rewriting the text, changing the links to your own, and you can even change the
title of the information. Basically, you have author rights to anything that you do
to it.

In the past, I was using PLR effectively by just re-arranging the text a little and
submitting it to an article directory, to my blog or generated some kind of
giveaway from it. I have found that is no longer as easily done.
As more and more of the internet is growing at a frenzied pace there are
situations that come about. In particular, along with the growth you are seeing
more and more people trying to make a living online. That shrinks the availability
of any PLR content that is currently out there. So much; in fact, it is hard to just
get a piece of PLR and change up the sentences a little and BAM! you have an
article.

I am going to share a little secret with you today, I hope you take it and use it.
Here it is, take the PLR content and read it… After you read it, write a similar
article using your own words. When you do that, you are going to own that
content like nobody else can. There will be no article submission directory that
will deny your submission if you wrote it. You will have your name on it, and its
all yours… forever!

I think too much of the internet lately has become passé to generating unique
content, to the point of the content not making any sense. I was involved with a
company that provided content to a blog I was posting to a while back, and I can
say it was crap at best! I wanted to change the wording so bad that I just
stopped using it. Now, I am sure there are content providers out there that are
using PLR effectively, but I would rather own it, and kill it on the backend. There
is of course going to be more work involved with my secret, but what a difference
it will make in your online presence if you just stop whining and make it happen…
lol

It’s been a pleasure sharing this with you, and I hope that you enjoyed what I
have spoken about today. Leave a comment for Chris telling him how much you
liked my article. If you like my style and feel I might have something else good to
say, why don’t you head over to my blog at http://askclintanderson.com when you
get done with Chris’ site and leave a comment, tell me what you want to know
about internet or affiliate marketing wise, and I will do my best to make that
happen for you…

To Your Success,

Clint Anderson

Important Changes With Squidoo

Posted on : 16-06-2009 | By : Chris | In : Squidoo

Good Evening!

I was just doing some things over at Squidoo, and I found out that there have been some very inprotant changes that I tought that you might be interested in knowing about.  Some of the changes are going to make your lenses look a lot better, while some of the changes have to do with what they are now allowing ( some would say that they are getting a little stricter).

First off, you can now make your lenses more appealing by applying different themes.  Here are three lenses of mine where I have implemented the new themes (backgrounds/colors):

Discount Coach Purses – Purple People Eater Theme

The Office on NBC – Paintball Theme

How to Make the Perfect Mojito – Gone Camping Theme

As you can see, these themes are nice, and they really help ut with making your lens look more appealing to your visitors.  Now, every single lens will not look exactly the same, and you can make each lens sort of stick out among your competition.  In addition to the ones shown above, they have also put out five other themes in addition to the original default theme.

Squidoo has also done away with the discovery tool.  I am not sure if this will help or hurt your lens.  I know that I have used it about 50% of the time, so I guess that it all depends on your personal preferences.

In addition to these great options, here are some things that have made Squidoo a little more “stricter.”  First of all, they are no longer allowing porn.  This does not affect me, but there are a lot of marketers that have made a lot of money in this niche that are going to be upset to see this go.  Squidoo has also done away with a lot of their topics to submit lenses to.  For a full list of topics that are no longer available, check out www.squidoo.com/squiddont.  Last but not least, Squidoo has put new linits on overly promotional lenses.  They have decided to put limit to the number of outbound links to the same domain that you can have on a lens.  Fortunately, you can still have nine outbound links to the same domian.  This is a lot better than a lot of other sites out there, so I am okay with it!

In my personal opinion, the changes that Squidoo has made are going to be very beneficial.  I am really not a fan of overly promotional lenses, so this does not affect me, and as you can see, I am already incorporating the new colorful themes!

If you have any questions about internet marketing using Squidoo, please let me know!  I will be more than happy to help!

Go Hard or Go Home!
